Veolia Water, the water division of Veolia Environment, is the world leader in water and wastewater services. In Australia and New Zealand we deliver and operate water systems providing services to more than two million people and manage over $10 billion of water assets. With 750 local staff we are a growing business and currently involved in some of Australia’s most important urban water infrastructure projects.
Due to this growth we now seek a Technical Director to join our senior management team. The Technical Director will be responsible for Engineering, Technical Support, Research & Development, Business Systems and OH&S functions to ensure that the development, implementation and collection of technical knowledge and capability is consolidated and utilised effectively throughout the business. The position will include extensive liaison with other parts of Veolia Water worldwide and will report directly into the CEO.
This is an exciting new role which will drive the application of group strategy, policies, procedures and methodologies to ensure the current and future needs of the business continue to be met.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding tertiary technical qualifications, experience within and a passion for the water industry, and capability in managing teams of technical experts and practitioners.
